Breathtaking scenery, tranquil beach culture and annual carnival celebrated Rio De Janeiro. Most people also recognize Rio with crime and violence. Drug barons and favelas (shantytown neighborhoods) are just the faces of many old social problems. The favelas are usually located in the foothills of the mountains of the city, and are sideways to the middle-class neighborhoods. For your safety:
NEVER go to a favela by yourself or with an unknown guide.
Do not go around with a lot of money in your pocket. ATMs are everywhere.
Stay away from the central districts of the city, especially Saara, after the dark pillow.
If you are in the mornings, especially when walking or running before the cops arrive, consider Copacabana insecure.
If security is taken into account, the question of where to stay in Rio de Janeiro is of great importance. We will give information about the area that can be stayed in Rio instead of giving individual hotel recommendations in Rio de Janerio.
Where in Rio De Janeiro
Where in Rio de Janeiro is the answer, the problem is only 43.87 square kilometers, although most of Rio de Janeiro’s southern regions (Zona Sul) are home to some of the world’s most famous beaches and landmarks. Most of these points are within walking distance (for example, Sugar Loaf, just 8km / 5 miles away from Copacabana Beach). Most hotels and hostels are tucked between the Tijuca Range (Macico de Tijuca) and the sea, in this part of the city. In this region; There are also places like Maracanã Stadium in the North Zone and many fascinating buildings in the Center.
In Zona Sul The street where the hotels in Copacabana are arrayed can be a bit seedy because of the tasteless and exaggerated dressed tourists as well as the opportunistic locals trying to benefit from them. The hotels of Ippanema may be a much nicer alternative, as they are in a good neighborhood, better organized and less touristy.
The easiest and cheapest way is the metro. The subway runs until 12 pm and we have not had a security problem. Buses are available during the day, minibuses are common but not all minibuses have air conditioning, some are very old. The taxi is cheap, the roadside is sometimes fixed price. You can arrange a taxi in the place you are staying, and you get a waiting charge on the wait.
Metro: 2.60 Real
Minibus: 2 Real (from Lapa to Copacabana)
Bus: It depends on distance.
Copacabana-Barra Shopping 4.40 Real (bus departs 2113, air conditioned.)
Copacabana, Ipenama-Cosmo Velho 2.20 Real (584 bus goes to the bus.)
Taxi: 4.2 Real-time opening, 0.20 Real increase. (Actually opening is 3.70 but tourists 4.2)
Airport-Copacabana is normally 37 Real, we paid 60 Real, the taxi arrived early, and the first departure from the start, the taxi operated.
Copacabana-Urca (Sugar Loaf) 40 Real (If you go there in the evening, they say that the traffic is bad and they charge a fixed price.) It is hard to turn an empty taxi off the road.
Copacabana-Corcovado 13 Real (by taxi)
Tram: 0.60 Real (going to Santa Terasa)

Cafe Lamas,: This is our favorite restaurant with its staff, food and prices. We recommend you try the Steak, Steak sandwiches and chickens. As we will have difficulty finding names, you can download the photos below and give them to your phone . Remember to drink goyaba water next to your meal!
Nova Capela, Lapa: This restaurant, which was once a chapel, serves as a barn from 1903. His menu is rich. The thing that needs to be defeated here is the lamb. You can get all kinds of lambs. Of course, do not forget your broccoli rice. The photo below is the una dipped beef meat. His taste was very nice. The prices here are a little bit pricey, from what we would say.
Tribas Pizza, Santa Tereza: We generally loved Santa Tereza. This is a pizza shop near the square. In the evenings you can sing pizza or whole pizza in this pizza with live music. We prepared a mixed plate of slices pizzas that were ready. The dough cracks! Do not ask for a slice of nutella and a walnut pizza. The taste is still in our heart.
Celeiro, Leblon: We already told you that restaurants in Leblon are expensive. This is one of those shops. Obviously, after so many meat restaurants, we loved this salad shop. You buy as many salad varieties as you want from the salad buffet, and then you are weighing your table and paying for it. Salad varieties are also incredibly delicious! Of course we can say that the second dish was left when we paid 20-30$ for a plate of salad.
Where to Go
Rio de Janeiro is one of the Places of Interest in Sugar Loaf Hill. After lunch we reach Rio de Janerio. We leave the hotel to go to the famous Sugar Loaf hill for Rio de Janeiro’s view without losing time after our arrival. The most practical way to get here is to use the cable car. Cable car 1 person = $ 20. There are 2 stops on the cable car line. Our first stop in Urca is very beautiful landscape, we are taking a few pictures.
Last stop Sugar Loaf Hill, here’s my chance I got some fog in the air. The weather is very variable, 10 min. Then the fog gets up and we see this spectacular scene.
Rio de Janeiro is ranked second in Places of Interest in Corcovado Hill. We go out on a train with only 2 wagons to Corcovado Tall at a height of 771 m. If you are trendy, you can watch the group that made Samba on your first vagina. We manage to get through the crowd and get on the first vagina. We are watching the spectacular scenery of Rio from Corcovado Hill, set amongst mountains and ocean. The statue here is Hz. Jesus is sculpted and his name is Cristo Redentor. Before I came here, I thought the statue opened its arms to the city of Rio, but it was true to Jerusalem. Tourists are never missing from this hill. In the summer, winter is always crowded and everyone poses with their arms open like a sculpture. Clouds are sometimes covered because the peak is too high. The weather is very variable, the weather is fine and we let it take pictures. Sometimes it is not possible to see neither sculpture nor city.
Places to See in Rio de Janeiro If you want to watch from above you can do a helicopter tour. Very common helicopter tours last about 7 minutes and the price of the tours is $ 80.
Rio de Janeiro Beaches:
Rio de Janeiro Places to Visit are definitely the beaches of Rio de Janeiro. Rio is a city famous for its beaches. Copacapana’s most famous beach, Ipanema and other beaches in Leblon. These beaches open directly to the Atlantic Ocean. The ocean waves are so strong that they can not swim here. We are watching ripples, wave surfers and a vast ocean view. There are soccer, volleyball and sunbathing Riolas on the beach. On Sundays the street parallel to Copacapana beach is closed to traffic and thousands of people ride here, walk, run. People love and care about sports in Brazil. The fact that Rio is a beach town also affects it. The side of Copacapan is full of hotels, so much attention is given here. The pavement patterns of the beaches are very famous and the beaches are made different from each other so that they can be separated from each other.
The cafes and pavement patterns of the beach are very famous, there are beach clothes sellers called Canga (pareo). There are these patterns on it. There are prices around 10 – 15 Real, negotiable.
Where to Stay
In Rio de Janeiro you have the choice of hundreds of hotels to suit your taste and your pocket. However, we should also mention that there are some points to pay particular attention to when choosing a hotel.
Rio is a metropolis with a beautiful city. A hotel outside the city center you choose to be a little cheaper can cost you dearly. If you are planning to own your own Rio beach, then you should make the hotel choice near the city center. If you are going to this city with a tour, you should ask your hotel to be safe. Hotel prices range from 25 to 300 dollars.
